 Won and Blackshell looked at the clam, now split cleanly into two halves. They stepped closer, each picking up a piece to inspect. It was a clam, but it didn't smell fishy. Rather, they smelled like a fragrant candy, a delicate blend of jasmine and sugar. They brought the clam shells closer to their faces, savoring the sweet scent. Before long, they burst into laughter, catching sight of each other and realizing they looked like they were wearing seashell masks.

 원과 블랙쉘은 위 아래 두조각으로 분리된 조개를 보고 있다가 조개에 가까이 갔다. 각자 한조각씩 잡고 조개를 이리저리 살펴보았다. 이것은 조개지만 비린내가 나지 않았다. 오히려 조개에서는 자스민과 설탕을 섞어서 만든 것 같은 향기로운 사탕 냄새가 났었다. 원과 블랙쉘은 그 냄새를 가까이 음미하기 위해 얼굴을 가까이 댔다. 그리고 그들은 곧 서로의 모습을 보면서 웃었다. 마치 조개 가면을 쓴 것 같은 모습이었기 때문이었다.
