Can you hear me, oil on canvas, 43.0x29.6cm, 2024

 Do you hear my voice over there? I am a fairy. I am a seashell, carrying the whispers of the sea within me. Put your ear to me, and you will feel the sea, the cradle of life.

There was a sound of wind rustling in the reeds, or rather, waves crashing. When we approached the sound, there was a clam. A clam would have a pearl inside, but this one itself shimmered with a pearlescent glow. 

 ”저기 제 목소리가 들리시나요? 나는 요정이에요. 나는 조개에요. 내 안에는 바다 소리가 있어요. 귀를 대보세요. 그러면 당신은 생명의 요람인 바다를 느낄 수 있을 것입니다.“ 

갈대밭에 바람이 흔들리는 소리, 아니 파도가 치는 소리가 났다. 우리는 그 소리의 근원지에 다가가자 어떤 조개가 있었다. 일반적인 조개는 안에 진주를 품지만. 이 조개는 조개 자체가 진주빛으로 반들거렸다.
