I have a scar on my temple with 30 stitches. It’s been about 15 years and it hasn't faded over time. I have to live with it. I used to feel pain every time I saw it because it reminded me of that moment. Now I became calm. I guess that's what time means. You come to accept and recognize the scars for what they are.
