Endless
Endless, oil on canvas, 90.0 x 90.0cm, 2021
It was a routine early morning. I played music while getting ready for the day. suddenly an acute feeling came across me.
It was the same intense feeling that I felt when I went to the beach a few years ago, but I couldn’t understand why these feelings were coming up now. I’m usually a person that follows through with plans and avoids impulses, but that morning was a little different.
I now understand why I made certain decisions at that moment. A certain impression precedes logic. The gaps in the past were filled in exquisitely, and past moments turned out to be inevitable. The “reasons” that I learned after a while completed the myriad of memories and made firm ground by which I could traverse the past, present, and future.
